In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills, their awareness of environmental sustainability and their commercial skills, all of which are valued highly by employers. Problem solving, team working and research skills will also be developed.
Why is this qualification the most suitable?
This qualification is one of two VTCT level 2 Technical Certificate qualifications in beauty Nail Technology. They will qualify learners to become employed as a nail technician or enable them to take up further enhanced studies.
At 460 Total Qualification Time (TQT), this Diploma is most suitable for learners who continue, as part of their programme of study to work towards achieving Level 2 English and maths, or those undertaking another qualification in parallel. The Level 2 Diploma in Nail Technology (Liquid and powder) allows the nail technician to concentrate their time in gaining mastery of liquid and powder applications, whereas the Level 2 Diploma in Nail Technology (Gel) allows the nail technician to specialise in gel enhancement applications, enabling mastery of techniques.
