Why is this qualification most suitable?
VTCT Level 1 Certificate in Preparation for Event Volunteering develops the fundamental skills, knowledge and confidence levels to be able to volunteer and work at events. It is suitable for all ages.
What does this qualification cover?
During this qualification learners will develop a basic understanding of dealing with customers, public safety awareness, equality and diversity, how to deal with conflict, team work, as well as some skills to deal with fire and emergencies.
This qualification acts as a developmental tool to facilitate development of interpersonal skills and confidence levels which are all important skills needed for volunteering roles.
What could this qualification lead to?
Learners who successfully complete this qualification will be able to confidently undertake volunteering and work at events. They will be equipped with all of the basic underpinning knowledge and skills required.
